A routine you can come back to

From your first note to your next goal.

Whether you're learning an instrument or refining a familiar piece, keep a useful record of every session.

  1. Choose what to practise

Add a piece, scale or exercise to your library. Start a session and choose what you want to work on.

  2. Play, record and reflect

Time your practice, record a passage and leave yourself a note about what went well or needs attention.

  3. See what adds up

Review your practice time, revisit recordings and use your goals to decide where to focus next.

More than a practice timer

A home for the work behind the music.

A practice session showing timer and recording controls, notes and previous practice history

Pick up where you left off.

Keep your notes and recordings with the music you're working on. When you return to a piece, your previous sessions are there to help you find your next step.

  • Track the time you spend on each piece or exercise.
  • Record your playing and listen back as you improve.
  • Keep notes about tricky passages and ideas for next time.

Practice statistics showing total practice time, number of sessions and a seven-day chart

Make your progress visible.

A single session is part of a bigger picture. See your practice history and statistics, then set goals that help you keep moving forward.

  • Review your practice time and recent activity.
  • Build a routine with goals for your playing.
  • Keep your library of pieces and exercises organised.
